The festival at Voltaire

Street art, concerts, dance, theatre, circus, wandering... Once again this year, the diversity and quality of the shows presented by professional companies and local troupes will be on show for one evening on Saturday 27 June 2026 in Ferney-Voltaire town centre and at the Château de Voltaire.

A cultural and popular event in the town, the Fête à Voltaire combines street performances and contemporary music, fixed stages, travelling artists, professionals and volunteers for an artistic and festive programme. The streets of the town centre will be the setting for an outdoor theatre extravaganza, with stalls featuring world cuisine, run by local associations- an exceptional experience to be shared with hundreds of volunteers and professionals!

In the gardens of Voltaire's last home, on a bench, along a random path or in the shade of an Italian poplar, a two-voice reading of some of the philosopher's correspondence with remarkable women awaits you.
