The exhibition explores the work of Sergio Toppi, an illustrator and comic strip artist born in Italy in 1932. The internationally acclaimed Italian cartoonist is one of those great Italian authors who, like Hugo Pratt, Guido Crepax and Dino Battaglia, gave comics and illustration many of their letters of nobility. He developed a deeply original and innovative style, inspired by the engraving masters of the 19th century.
