Presentation

Invite your guests to history with a fabulous reception at Voltaire.

Between the Alps and the Jura, a stone's throw from the Swiss border, the Voltaire estate has retained all the elegance of the 18th and 19th centuries. With its breathtaking view of Mont Blanc, the setting is a veritable invitation to reverie, enhancing the refined decor of this neo-classical building.

Chateau of Voltaire will also win you over with its idyllic location : strategically situated between the city of Geneva 20 minutes away and its airport, it combines the advantages of the great outdoors with perfect accessibility.

For a day or an evening, become Voltaire's guest at his château.

Its 7-hectare park and orangery provide the ideal setting for organising your private events: birthdays, weddings, celebrations, etc.

The Orangery

Built in 1901 by Hortense Lambert-David, it was originally linked by an archway to a series of small buildings comprising a greenhouse and a palmarium designed to house various exotic plants (palms, banana trees, etc.) during the winter.

Spacious and on one level, the upper room is bathed in light thanks to its large picture windows opening onto the garden. It can accommodate 100 people and is the ideal venue for refined receptions such as weddings, family ceremonies, dinners and cocktail parties.

In the basement, the lower room, with the same surface area, is available for the festive part of your events (ball).

The gardens

At the rear of the château is a regular formal garden with a pond, as well as the "charmille" under which Voltaire liked to find inspiration.

His bower originally extended as far as the present-day Orangery. He designed it and had it planted so that the branches joined together to form a plant tunnel.

This regular flowerbed will be the perfect setting for an intimate ceremony.

For your wedding photos, the park and formal garden offer sumptuous views of this 18th-century residence.
