All year round, the Chateau de Voltaire offers a range of activities for your leisure centres and holiday camps for half or full days.

Our offer is aimed at children aged 4 to 14. There are many ways to discover the site and how to visit it. They can be adapted to suit the age and plans of the group leaders.

Want to give your youngsters a taste of life in a castle ? Then don't hesitate, the Chateau de Voltaire is waiting to welcome you for a moment out of time!

Self-guided tour

You guide your group through the building on your own. To prepare for your self-guided tour, we can provide you with suitable content and a tour booklet on request by email.

Price

40 for 1 group of up to 35 children (€20 for groups including young people with disabilities, integration structures, priority education, urban policy, priority neighbourhoods, etc.).

Activities

The monument's education department offers turnkey activities for young people aged 4 to 15. During these special events, groups are welcomed by mediators for fun and sensitive discoveries of the monument's heritage.

Price

90 for guided tours/entertainment activities; €130 for workshops. In French or english (under reserve of availability)

Activities at Les Jardins de Voltaire

The Jardins de Voltaire association cultivates an inclusive and supportive garden within the monument. In return, they take part in a number of events at the château, such as Rendez-vous aux Jardins and the European Heritage Days. Convinced that we protect what we love, the association also aims to help children discover and love nature, by offering them enriching experiences that raise their awareness of the need to preserve our environment and the importance of living in harmony with it. It offers all-day activities every Wednesday (except during school holidays), as well as holiday camps.

Voltaire Lab by Addiclab

AddicLab has been a creative laboratory since 1997. Its aim is to accelerate creative talent in all possible disciplines and cultures. The Addictlab Academy selects activities for educational and corporate workshops for children, adults and businesses where participants learn, experiment, improvise and collaborate. From September to June, it offers "Voltaire Labs" every Wednesday at the château, focusing on architecture and the philosopher.
