Visitor facilities and advice
- Guide or assistance dogs allowed.
- Possibility of sitting in the rooms of the château: a chair in each room.
- Handrails on all staircases
- The need to provide assistance for people with intellectual disabilities or mental health problems (safe passageways, dark areas).
The self-guided tour
The château provides tactile and audiovisual aids in the rooms of the historical tour.
Tour aids
- A 10-minute film (French, English) entitled "Voltaire, a contemporary word", based on a free interpretation of the philosopher's texts.
- Interactive terminals in each room, with the option of enlarging the texts.
- A tactile model with a Braille legend of the 18th century château to give an idea of the layout and exterior and interior appearance of the residence (including decorative elements) as Voltaire knew it.
- A light-relief map of the estate in the 18th century to give an idea of its size, organisation and proximity to the village of Ferney and Geneva.
Admission to the monument
- For individuals or groups of up to 8 people: Free admission for the disabled person + 1 accompanying adult, on presentation of the individual's disability card or a group certificate for groups visiting the monument.
- For groups of more than 9 people: €20 for the whole group up to 20 people.
Adapted visits
Dialogue, wandering, talking, listening, handling objects, art workshops: the château offers special tours on several themes with a specialised guide for people with intellectual disabilities or mental health problems.

The monument's "Accueil Pour Tous" service organises these guided tours and special activities on request only.
Dates and times to be arranged with you,subject to prior booking for groups of 5 or more.
